Leon is a former Division I athlete who turned his passion for fitness into a career helping others unlock their full potential. With a bachelor’s degree in fitness and nutrition and a master’s in exercise science, he combines expert knowledge with a drive to motivate and inspire.

Leon’s goal is to push clients beyond what they think they’re capable of—building strength, confidence, and resilience both mentally and physically. He thrives on seeing athletes and clients reach their goals and exceed expectations.

With over 25 years of experience training and developing young athletes across VA, OH, MO, and KS, Scott brings unmatched knowledge and passion to every session. Most recently, he spent 15 years at The Barstow School in Kansas City, where he taught Strength & Conditioning, Middle School PE, and served as the High School Athletic Trainer.
A former three-sport athlete and collegiate pitcher at James Madison University, Scott holds a degree in Health Sciences and has worked with athletes of all ages — from youth competitors to weekend warriors. His extensive background in athletic training and rehabilitation allows him to design programs that build strength, improve performance, and reduce injury risk.
Now living in Lawrence with his wife and two sons, Scott remains deeply involved in the local baseball community as a coach and mentor. His goal is to help athletes reach their full potential while fostering a lifelong love for sports in a challenging yet supportive environment.

From age 4 through 17, Kem was deeply involved in athletics. In high school, he competed as a varsity athlete for three years in football, two years in track, and one year in basketball—serving as a captain for each team.

After graduation, he received multiple offers to continue his football career at the collegiate level from schools across the country.
Now pursuing a degree in Exercise Science at the University of Kansas, Kem plans to become a physical therapist.
Outside of school, he spends his afternoons working with youth at the Boys and Girls Club of Lawrence and shadowing A-Team’s DPT Certified Athletic Performance Trainer, Andrea, to gain hands-on experience in the field.
He's passionate about helping young athletes develop their strength, confidence, and love for sports both on and off the field.

Currently, he works with LMH Physical Therapy at the West Campus, specializing in musculoskeletal injuries related to athletic activity. He also completed the Hospital for Special Surgery Rehabilitation Baseball Overhead Athlete Certification in its inaugural year.
Outside of OrthoKansas, David trains local pitchers to refine their mechanics and increase velocity. Using advanced pitching analysis software technology, he helps athletes compare their mechanics to collegiate and MLB pitchers, giving them tools to elevate their performance.

Dom Visentin began his career at Butte College, where he was a Gold Glove catcher and helped win a conference championship before transferring to Tabor College. There, he caught 112 games, earned All-KCAC honors, and was named Tabor’s Catcher of the Decade

Chris Gilbert is in his third season as the Head Men’s and Women’s Golf Coach at Baker University. Since taking over in 2022, he has guided the Wildcats to seven program records, a conference championship, nine Heart of America Golfer of the Week awards, and their first team title since 2018.

Before joining Baker, Gilbert spent two seasons at the University of Kansas as a volunteer assistant for both golf programs. He also coached at Wisconsin, where he helped the Badgers win two tournaments and set a school scoring record, and at Washington State, where he guided the Cougars to back-to-back titles.
Passionate about the game and its future, Gilbert is dedicated to helping young golfers develop their skills, sharpen their mindset, and perfect their craft both on and off the course.

Heather began coaching recreational softball in Lawrence in 2015 and transitioned to competitive coaching in 2018. She has coached from 10U through 16A with the A-Team Aces and has spent the past several years training with pitching coaches to bring high-level instruction to the community. Dedicated to developing pitchers of all abilities, Heather emphasizes fundamentals, confidence, and a love for the sport.

Kristen grew up in Eastern Kansas and has been immersed in competitive softball since childhood. A four-year varsity player at Washburn Rural High, she helped her team to a state tournament as a freshman and earned All-City honors as a sophomore.

After an injury ended her fast-pitch career, Whitney found new success in slow-pitch softball, competing at the highest level and earning a spot on the USSSA Major Watch List for three straight years.
Now, she’s dedicated to passing on her love for the game and helping athletes grow both on and off the field. Whitney is also pursuing a career in massage therapy to further support athletes in reaching their potential.
